Instructions of general character

Mechanical sturdiness
  • Mechanical sturdiness is intended in normal use conditions
How to use them
  • When possible it is recommended to use both hands to put on your glasses and to take them off
  • Do not wear them pushed on the top of your head
  • Your optician will adjust the frame on your face; if these adjustments change, please go back to your optician to make them fit better. Do not try to adjust them yourself
Precautions
  • Always use the case that the glasses came with
  • Do not wear your glasses while having your hair dyed or with hair spray
  • Do not chew on the shafts
  • Do not allow other people to use your glasses
  • Do not sleep with your glasses on
  • If carrying your glasses around your neck, be aware of transporting heavy objects against your chest
  • Do not wear them in very hot places or near heat sources
Cleaning and Maintenance
  • To wash your glasses use cold water and a bar of soap (do not use liquid soap). Dry them using a soft cotton cloth
  • Do not use abrasive sponges
  • Do not use the dish-washer
  • When drying or cleaning the lenses, do not put too much pressure on the lenses or on the soldered parts, to avoid breakings. It is advisable to hold the same lens you are drying or cleaning
  • Do not use paper products for cleaning, use a microfiber cloth instead
  • If raining, as soon as you get home, wash your glasses
  • Change the nose pads and the shafts’ ends (for metal frames) periodically, to avoid breakings
  • Use wet cotton sticks to remove dirt from the hinges and the nose pads periodically
  • To check if the adjustments are correct, just lay them upside down on a plain surface and check out that both shafts lay correctly on it, or that the glasses fit the same as when adjusted by the optician
  • To avoid braking the hinge mechanisms, just use some anti-oxidizer spray on it periodically
Undesired effects
  • Unless the wearer is allergic to some of the materials used to make a metal frame, there are no effects. For plastic frames no undesired effects have to be expected.
How to use the sunglasses
  • Do not use your sunglasses to look directly at the sun or at a strong light source
  • Do not use them while using UV lamps
Warnings
  • Check the frame’s condition at our store or at your optician at least once a year.
  • All our frames come with non prescription lenses, to keep the shape during the storage and they have to be replaced for any other purpose
